South Lamar Zilker Cottage

Less than a block from the city bus line, our garage apartment is vintage with an urban feel. Hi-speed internet and ROKU TV. The cottage comfortably fits two and is within walking distance to many South Lamar bars and restaurants and Zilker. Outdoor deck and offstreet parking too. (Please note that there is an additional $25 fee for early check in or late check out. We often can accommodate, but need an early request if you choose to utilize this option. Thank you.) The space This 1940's garage apartment is located in the heart of South Austin's Zilker neighborhood. The apartment is full of light. Hardwood floors and doublehung windows are restored but original. The living dining area faces east, and gets great morning sun. It has one bedroom and a bathroom with shower, a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and work table so you can cook while you visit (although who wants to when there is so much great food nearby?) The bathroom is fully remodeled, but the kitchen is vintage, with NO dishwasher. Relive the 1940's and wash those dishes by hand. It has air conditioning and heat, and a screen door to enjoy the outside on good days. Guest access The house has flat screen TV, a radio that doubles as a speaker, and wifi. There is off street parking. You have your own access just steps away and up the stairs to your private deck. Other things to note This cottage has a really good vibe. I sometimes just go over there to read and hang out. There's something about being "up" at tree level that lends a new perspective - try it!
