Beautiful Victorian ground floor flat available in the heart of Edinburgh’s prestigious West End. Newly renovated to a high standard, this luxury apartment is available to sleep four, with one double bed in the principle bedroom upstairs and a comfortable double sofa bed with memory foam topper available in the sitting room (sofa bed for bookings of 3+ guests only). The central location allows walking distance to all city centre attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and Murrayfield Stadium The space This newly renovated ground floor apartment was the former Victorian wash house, and now boasts elegant style and chic interiors. Guests enter directly into the flat through a main door where they have the use of a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, gas hob/oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge. A beautiful Victorian style spiral staircase links the kitchen to the bedroom upstairs which has an extremely comfortable memory foam double bed. Downstairs there is a luxury fitted white bathroom with shower over bath and a comfortable living room with sofa bed (please note sofa bed is only available for bookings of 3+ guests. If a booking of 2 guests wish to use the sofa bed, please note it is an extra £35/night. Please contact the host to arrange in order to unlock the sofa). A patio also sits directly outside the main door, which can be used for smoking etc. NB: I usually manage to change sheets across my lunch break but on the odd occasion the room may not be changed over until after I have finished work at 5.30-6pm. You are still welcome to drop off luggage before that time however. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment with use of all kitchen equipment. Only bookings of 3+ guests will have use of the sofa bed (i.e. Bookings of 2 guests will use the standard double bedroom upstairs only. Should a booking of 2 guests wish to use the sofa bed, please contact the host to arrange the additional £35/night charge or just amend the booking to 3 guests and this will automatically charge the correct amount. The sofa bed will be locked unless notified). Please note that there is STRICTLY NO PARKING in the residents car park round the back. I unfortunately have no allocated space and neighbours will phone the police if you park in their bays. A £100 fine will be charged if you do park there. If you do wish to park nearby for cheap, please park at the Edinburgh National Gallery of Modern Art (5 min walk away) who charge only £8/day. Due to the apartments very central city centre location, on street parking is expensive during the day, at around £3-4/hour, however between 6.30pm-8.30am it is free to park on street near the flat, so you can always move your car back in the evenings.
