This walkable neighborhood is packed with restaurants, vintage shops, boutiques, bars, and breweries, plus easy access to Mt. Tabor Park. Inside, enjoy mid-century modern furnishings, original art, lush plants, and a warm, stylish atmosphere. High-speed Wi-Fi (up to 940 Mbps), Netflix, Amazon Prime, and 50+ antenna channels make relaxing easy. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, quality cookware, stoneware, sharp knives, and a well-stocked spice rack. Upstairs, two spacious primary suites feature room-darkening curtains and comfortable beds for restful nights. A rollaway bed is available on request. Outdoors, unwind on the deck, in the gazebo, or among the flowers and vegetables in the garden. Whether you’re here for a peaceful retreat or to explore Portland’s vibrant scene, this home offers the perfect base for your stay. Guest access You will have the main house, deck and patio to yourselves. I have potted plants in the patio area that I will need to water on occasion, but I will notify you prior to doing so. I have an apartment in the basement with a separate entrance and I have a big garden in the backyard that I use. No parking in the driveway or garage but there is ample free street parking in front of my house or within a block. Please park either in front of my house, leaving room for a second car, or across the street in front of the single level green house. **Laundry access is only available for guests staying 7 nights or longer.** Other things to note ***ATTENTION***: When making a booking request, please be sure to include that you have read the full description of this property, that you and your guests are non-smokers, and that you have read the house rules. My home is not suitable for small children so all guests must be 5+ years old. *Please include your flight arrival and departure info, including arriving flight number. If you are driving, please include your approximate arrival time. I prefer to meet my guests in person, if possible. Having this info also helps me arrange the cleaning schedule. Check in is any time after 4 pm and check out any time before 11 am. * I live on-site part-time and may be in the garden or garage occasionally. If you prefer zero host interaction, this may not be the best fit. we may cross paths outside. *By booking this home, you are confirming you have read and understand the cancellation policy. I recommend you purchase a trip insurance policy through a travel insurance company. *For stays under 7 nights, laundry is not included. let me know in advance if you would like to use the laundry facilities. Access to laundry and an extra half bath is available for a $50 fee. This is what my cleaner charges me to get that room set up for guests use. *Due to inclement weather or fire hazard due to drought, there may be times when the fire pit table cannot be used. In the rainy or winter months, the furniture cushions are stored away. *This home has stairs, multilevel decks, and both bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs - best for guests without mobility issues. *This is a shoe-free home. Please honor this and remove your shoes at the door. *The back bedroom has a queen bed and a comfortable roll-away bed. If four guests are staying, but you will require the use of the rollaway, please be sure to notify me several days in advance so I can have it set up for you. *No unauthorized guests or parties. Visitors must be approved in advance. My insurance and Airbnb do not cover unauthorized guests. *NON-SMOKERS ONLY! Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or tobacco chewing anywhere on the property. I am highly sensitive to secondhand smoke, so if you or one of your guests smoke, please do not request to book my home. *No pets! Due to allergies, no exceptions to this rule, as I live in the house part-time. *Décor, linens, and artwork may vary from photos. *For security reasons, please be sure all windows are shut and locked, and doors are locked when you are outside of the house. *Property has a Ring doorbell for security. *I use low-scent, non-toxic cleaning supplies and protect mattresses and pillows.
