Find yourself here- lost on purpose in this remote “no neighbors” camp site, where you’ll only hear the frogs, hoot owls and coyotes! 100% primitive=No bathhouse! A rustic, romantic camp located amongst oak and walnut trees sitting above a peaceful creek on a secluded ridge. Miles of trails used for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding or dirt bikes; Go fishing in the pond or sit a spell on the dock. Hammocks, tents, sleeping bags- all available for rent. Cheap. Choose between 3 spots! The space Your camp is very secluded, away from any view of any other structures. You will have extreme privacy and it is all yours to yourself! No neighbors in sight! Unlike most campgrounds, you truly feel like one with nature; alone in a vast wilderness! Except you’re only 1/2 hours drive from the city! Guest access You can tour the property. Hike the trails, fish the pond, pet the horses, play fetch with the dogs or just relax in a hammock! You have access to all of the trail systems on the property. If you prefer a particular camp site, pictured, please request by the photos name, otherwise we will point you to the most easily accessed sites. We have a total of 3 camp sites now: Hammock Haven, Cozy Corner and Roadside Site 1. And have a separate listing for our RV hookup slips. We do offer other amenities for a fee, such as flying in our personal plane with a licensed pilot! Or take a boating trip to a local lake for some guided fishing. You could also choose a personal tour guide service;Typically at a rate of $40 per hour. Kayaks with paddle rentals are $25. each per day, and you must be able to haul them yourself. River put in/take out access is only 5 minutes from the property. Firewood is available if you are willing to forage it. Any dead down wood is free to be used for fires. Please make sure your fires are completely extinguished before leaving. All trash is picked up, packed out and the gate is latched back behind you when you exit the property. Other things to note If you have particular expectation for your camping experience, please advise us prior to your visit. Otherwise we assume you are a knowledgeable camper that has primitive camped before and that you know how and what to do to have fun and be comfortable “roughing it”. We also assume you are fully aware of the ethics of camping and the “Leave No Trace” policy that all nature lovers follow.
