Explore the views of the bush and the night sky while on your private patio right in the centre of Wairarapa's new Dark Sky Reserve. Wake up to the Tui's bird song, the fantail chatter and the river echoing through the valley. Relax in the quiet surrounds take in natures medicine while walking through the bush past the historical Totara down to the river. Relax unwind and connect with each other and nature. The space Te Ngahere is a modern Pod set on the edge of the gully over looking the Ruakokoputuna Valley. Our pod provides a chance to relax away from the hustle and bustle while having the convenience of being just minutes from Martinborough Square. The pod is a luxury one bedroom unit with a kitchen area, full fridge/freezer, bathroom and outdoor patio with a Weber Q. We supply tea, coffee, milk etc but otherwise the Pod is self catered and supplies from town only minutes away. Guest access The Pod is located on approximately 16 acres of native bush and gully. There is a 5 minute walk to the river through the bush. Other things to note Please bring suitable footwear you dont mind getting a bit dirty or wet. Also certain times of the year the glow worms are visible on the bush walk to the river. Bringing head lamps to guide you would be beneficial. Water is precious and we operate by tank so please be mindful of water usage. Not suitable for wheelchair access
