Southside Charming Home- TCU, JPS, and Downtown FW

Welcome to our 100+ year-old bungalow. This was our family's residence for many years, and we've made upgrades to this charming house to become a warm and inviting home. It's age and character come with all of the expected old-home charms and quirks - quaint details, large rooms, small closets, spacious front porch, and lots of natural light. We hope you step into a home-away-from-home when you stay with us. Welcome to Fort Worth and to the Southside. The space You are renting the main house for your Airbnb. The back house located in our back yard is currently rented by a tenant. So, please note that the backyard is a shared space. The home has a private front entrance. Guests can park 1 car in the driveway with additional parking on the street. The home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath bungalow, and is great for families, small groups, or business travelers. We do allow pets - but please read the pet policy below. About the layout: The living room includes a TV with basic channels (no cable) and a Roku for you to use your own subscription services. There is also a gas fireplace to use for cooler weather (please follow instructions posted in the guide provided in the home). The kitchen is stocked with all of the necessities and includes an oven/stove, microwave, and full refrigerator. We also provide a Keurig for single cup use (with coffee, chai tea lattes, and hot chocolate) or a full pot (with ground coffee). The home includes 2 spacious bathrooms, 3 closets with hangers for storage. An iron and ironing board are available. And a hair dryer in each bathroom are also provided for guests to use. The guest bathroom is accessible by the main hallway and right next to the front bedroom. It includes a large soaking clawfoot tub that can be used as a shower, as well. The master bathroom (located in the back and connected to the master bedroom) has 1 sink, and a large walk-in shower with 2 shower heads. This old home has 3 bedrooms which are situated as follows: 1 front bedroom with 2 twin beds a closet, dresser, and chair. A sound machine and alarm clock is also provided. 1 middle bedroom/den. This bedroom is connected to the back master bedroom - meaning, you have to walk through this room to get to the master bedroom. The middle bedroom/den has a queen sleeper sofa, a desk for work, and a larger walk-in closet with hangers. The master bedroom is connected to the middle bedroom/den with 2 French doors (with blinds) that can close for privacy. There is a king size bed, dresser, small rocking chair, full-size mirror, and a sound machine. The master bathroom is connected to this room. We are a local foster family and have a variety of baby/children's needs that we can setup for you if you're traveling with kids. Just give us at least 72-hours notice to set it up in the space before your arrival. Lastly, please know that this bungalow is a 1918 structure, and while it has been modernized, it does boast some old-home charm (read quirks). We love our little bungalow and sharing our space and community with guests! We truly hope you enjoy your stay! The backyard is shared with a back house that is rented to a tenant. Guest access We hope guests enjoy the bungalow and are welcome to enjoy the backyard, which is shared with the back house tenant in the cottage. The front porch is spacious and setup for dinners at a 6-person table or coffee in 2 chairs - great spot for people watching. Or our favorite, enjoying sitting under the large overhang to watch the rain! Other things to note This is a great location for TCU football games! You can catch a free shuttle to games, and avoid the traffic and hassle of parking on campus. Booking with pets is allowed by inquiry only. Our pet policy is as follows: -$50 per pet -one pet per stay only -only dogs 40lbs or less allowed -all dogs must be with owners while on the property. -there are some great dog parks and even some fun restaurants/dog park combos in the area as well.
