This welcoming home is central to Louisville's most popular and lively neighborhoods, walking distance to many favorite spots. Natural light and unique art fill the home. There is a large deck that overlooks a beautiful cemetery behind the home, and is a perfect place enjoy morning coffee or sunset dinner. A coffee/tea bar is located in the fully equipped kitchen. Charging stations and white noise machines are found in both bedrooms. 2 workstations and a smart TV are also available. The space This is a "shotgun" style house. This means one room leads into the next, there are no hallways. You must walk through one bedroom to get to the next, and same to get to the living room. There is 1 step to get into the home, and 2 to get from the living room to the bedrooms. The back yard is fully fenced in though there are some small areas with gaps. If you have small animals accompanying you, I recommend a leash at all times. Guest access I use a smart lock for guest self check-in. Myself or my cohost can meet you at the property if preferred. Please notify us in advance if this is preferred so we can arrange our schedules accordingly. You have access to the entire home/yard/deck. There is free street parking out front but no designated spot (though generally one is available right in front of the home). There is a parking pad in the back of the home that is accessed from the alley. The alley is narrow and not well lit. There are 3 small staircases that must be used to get from the parking pad to the back door just FYI. Other things to note Close proximity to many locations! Easy access to Uber/Lyft/Taxi at all hours. 11 minute drive to airport 11 minute drive to KY Expo Center 10 minute drive to International Convention Center 12 minutes to Churchill Downs (except with Derby traffic) If you need to check directions prior to booking you can use "Barret Bar" for a starting point which is 1/2 block away.
