Rooms with windows facing the Gran Canal inside the Hotel Galleria, small classic venetian style hotel in the historic centre of Venice few minutes away from the Accademia bridge and from the museums Gallerie dell'Accademia, Peggy Guggenheim , Palazzo Grassi and Cà Rezzonico. Our entrance is few steps away from the water bus (vaporetto) stop ACCADEMIA (lines 1, 2 and N) and few minutes away from the water bus stop ZATTERE (lines 2, 5.1/5.2 and 6). ZATTERE is also the water bus stop for the Alilaguna shuttle water bus from and to venice - Marco Polo airport.The nearest car parks in town are the ones at the Piazzale Roma Termianl and at the Tronchetto island (we suggest the last one because less expensive and closer). However the cheapest car parks are on the mailand in Mestre, at Marco Polo airport or just before the "ponte della Libertà" the long bridge that connects Venice to the mailand. HOW TO GET HERE. From Venice PIAZZALE ROMA terminal or from Venice SANTA LUCIA train station: - Via Gran Canal (panoramic trip) 25/35 minutes - water bus lines 1 or 2 (or N during the night) until the water bus stop ACCADEMIA. Once out the boat turn left and few steps away there is our entrance. - Via Giudecca Canal - 20/25 minutes - water bus lines 5.2 or 6 (this last one only from Piazzale Roma) until the water bus stop ZATTERE. Once out the boat turn right, and just after the church turn left. Then go straight until the end of the street where on the right there is our entrance. From the car park TRONCHETTO: - Via Giudecca Canal - 15/20 minutes - water bus line 2 until the water bus stop ZATTERE. Once out the boat turn right, and just after the church turn left. Then go straight until the end of the street where on the right there is our entrance. - Via Gran Canal - (panoramic trip) 35/45 minutes - water bus line 2 until the water bus stop ACCADEMIA. Once out the boat turn left and few steps away there is our entrance. From VENICE - MARCO POLO airport: - around 1 hour and 40 minutes - shuttle water bus Alilaguna until the the water bus stop ZATTERE. Once out the boat go straight until the end of the street where on the right there is our entrance. - around 1 hour - bus to Venice PIAZZALE ROMA Terminal. Then from therevfollow the direction From Venice PIAZZALE ROMA terminal (above) From TREVISO - CANOVA airport. - around 1 hour and 45 minutes - bus to Venice PIAZZALE ROMA Terminal. Then from therevfollow the direction From Venice PIAZZALE ROMA terminal (above) Other things to note Luciano & Lucio are at the the reception from 7:30 a.m. to 13:00 (1:00 p.m.) and during this time they welcome personally the arriving guests. However after that time they are always reachable at the phone for any problem or request of information. In case of emergency a staff member can reach the hotel in few minutes. Guests arriving after 13:30 (1:30 p.m.) will be able to access to to the hotel using a code to open the entrance door that will be sent them few days before the arrival date together with all the detailed information on how to get here and the check in procedure.
