2 bed stone built terrace, opposite C13th Castle

Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway in a beautiful stone built terraced cottage opposite a 13th Century castle in the quirky Welsh village of Rhuddlan. Our stone cottage has been enhanced with all the contemporary touches you would want & expect on your trip. Walking distance to an array of independent shops, pubs & restaurants, an 18 hole golf course, and a 5 minute drive to the A55 Expressway and all that North Wales has to offer. The space Our beautiful two-bed stone cottage is situated opposite the majestic C13th Rhuddlan Castle with enviable views out onto this ruin from your windows. Upstairs you will find our two bedrooms, the master having a King bed and views of the castle, and second bedroom a double bed. Our only bathroom is also situated upstairs and houses a lovely roll top bath (with shower overhead). Downstairs we have the lounge with log effect fire, smart TV and more importantly views of the castle out of the window. The lounge leads into the kitchen/diner with small utility room. Beyond the kitchen, leads out onto the rear garden which is elevated to enjoy the view of the Castle and the Clwydian Hills. After a day of exploring, enjoy the sunset from the newly created outdoor area with BBQ, fire pit, seating area, swing chair, compete with outdoor lighting around the palm tree for when the sun slips down. When you’re done outside, snuggle up on the contemporary and very comfy sofa in front of the warm fire. Having travelled extensively with babies and toddlers, any little ones making the trip, have toys and games and books to occupy them as well as a travel cot, high chair, changing mat and potty so you can travel light. Finish or start the day with a hot shower. Fluffy towels, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, a small supply of toilet rolls, are all provided. In the well stocked kitchen, we’ve tried to think of everything so if you’re cooking for yourselves, you have everything you need. Please note we do not have dedicated parking at Frogg Cottage and whilst we have a sign on our house to deter others from parking there, we cannot always guarantee it would be available during your stay. However, there is ample on street parking in and around the cottage itself. Guest access The entirety of Frogg Cottage is yours to enjoy. With a front and back door access plus side gate to access the garden. Our next door neighbour does have a right of way through our back garden if required for bin day etc however, this is also a second home and therefore the rights of access is very rarely used. Other things to note Having lived in the Village and throughout North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 for a number of years, any tips you want about the area, don’t hesitate to ask.
