Keep it simple in our cozy cabin in the woods. This cabin features 1 loft bedroom upstairs accessed by a ladder and a full kitchen and living room. The sectional in the living room pulls out into a full size bed. Kitchen is fully stocked with basic cooking supplies and serving ware. We have a gravity fed water system for sink water and a nice outhouse on the property. This tiny home is the only one on the property with lots of privacy. 5 miles from the airport Warm, cozy cabin sure to get you a good nights rest during your travels or serve as a nice place to crash while you explore all Fairbanks’ has to offer. Located on 1.5 acres of beautiful woods—far enough from city lights you may be able to catch the Northern Lights right outside the bedroom window! Our cabin has a full kitchen for preparing meals, with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. We are plumbed for water to a kitchen and washroom sink, but the water is gravity fed from a large tank upstairs in the loft. Because of this the water does come out at a lower pressure than a standard sink and it’s only room temperature. We have a filtered water dispenser in the anteroom that provides on demand hot and cold water for drinking, cooking, or washing up. There is no septic, toilet, or shower. There are drain buckets under the sink that require emptying when full. We have washcloths and baby wipes to freshen up and an outhouse for use on the property! We have WiFi, TV with DVDS, books, and the kitchen table has built in storage with chess pieces and cards. Some call it rustic, a true Alaskan experience—I find it a comfortable, cozy, simple space! Only 5 miles from the airport, in a quiet neighborhood. The cabin is on 1.5 acres of a wooded lot which provides so much privacy! Fairbanks is easiest to explore with a car! There is a loft bedroom only accessible by ladder, must be able to safely utilize the ladder to stay at our property. Due to this we ask that children only stay upon approval.
