From its privileged spot on 20 acres of pristine land, this retreat watches over towering pines and commands breathtaking views of Giant and Rooster Comb mountains from its wraparound deck. Follow the winding gravel driveway through the woods, and you'll discover a 4,000-square-foot haven that redefines mountain luxury. Built in 2015 by Rolf Kielman of Truexcullins Architects, this wooden-shingled beauty marries Adirondack charm with modern comfort. Each of the four bedrooms (featuring four king beds, two twins, and a cozy crib) comes with its own heated bathroom floor. The heart of the house beats in its open-concept main floor including a chef's kitchen with granite countertops and a six-burner gas stove beckoning for family feasts to be created. Why not gather around the three-sided glass fireplace and let the central air system keep you cool in the summers. The large dining table has room for everyone's elbows – and then some. Upstairs, kids (and kids at heart) will find their paradise in a cathedral-ceilinged playroom, complete with a built-in game nook that's better than any treehouse and plenty of comfy seating in front of the large TV. Parents can rest easy knowing every stairway comes with built-in baby gates, and the full-sized laundry room means less time washing, more time wandering. Outside, a BBQ and fire pit await your evening plans, while a picnic table stands ready for those al fresco lunches. And if your crew grows? The Swedish Chalet sits just across a wooded picturesque lawn with three more bedrooms and bathrooms – close enough for convenience, far enough for privacy. Your mountain escape can be as intimate or expansive as you need it to be. Other things to note We work hard and play hard so we need our rest. There are strict limits on noise levels between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Ordinances will be enforced by any law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the short-term rental property. A violation of this ordinance will result in termination of the contract. Please refrain from loud, boisterous talking if in a group. Make sure outdoor spaces are left neat and tidy, the same way as when you got to the property. Trash must be left in the garbage shed and never outside as it will attract unwanted wildlife. If traveling in the snow, we highly recommend having a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The private gravel road will be plowed, but winters in the Adirondacks are beautiful but can sometimes be unpredictable! Check in time is 4:00pm. Check-in is at Adirondack Realty office at 1774 NY state Rt 73. Check-out time is 10:00am. The property is furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, shampoo and shower soap. Hair Dryers and firewood supplied. No pets permitted. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the grounds. Failure to comply will result in a fee of $500.00
