Description
This is a 200 year old Cotswold stone cottage nestled amongst the trees in Ruscombe almost on top of the Cotswold Way with fabulous views across the five valleys area of Stroud. Recently modernised and decorated the end terraced cottage is cosy with a fresh and modern cottage feel. Dogs with well behaved owners are welcome as are muddy boots and soggy walkers. The space This is a large bedroom with a king sized bed with drawers and hanging space. There’s a log fired burner in the Living room for those cold, wintry and wet days and a patio at the front for sitting out in the sun when it shines. There's also a secluded patio round the back that catches the sun on summer evenings. It's a family sized home, shared with other guests, with one shared bathroom on the first floor with a shower over the bath. The downstairs loo by the front door is the second loo in the house. Both are shared with other guests. I don't provide meals but the kitchen is available should you wish to rustle up something tasty. The living room and dining room are available to everyone and there's wifi :) Guest access Living room, dining room, kitchen, garden, patio During your stay I live locally, pop in most days to attend to cleaning and laundry, and I'm rarely more than a few minutes away so if you need anything I'm never more than a text/call away. Other things to note Bring slippers! we're a 'shoes off in the house' kind of place. Walking around here in the woods is great fun but it can be a muddy experience so there's a hose pipe outside with hot and cold running water to wash down water proofs, paws and boots. There are also plenty of doggy towels so everyone can be clean and dry BEFORE they come in :o) Wet things can be dried in the hallway, where you'll find plenty of hooks, rather than taking them upstairs to the rooms. Please help me keep the place clean :) It is a dog friendly house but there are rules like no dogs on beds etc.
