Description

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This chalet is set high on the hill with sweeping farmland views. Fully insulated, with reverse cycle AC and a wood fire. Chalet 1 has 2 cosy bedrooms (1 King, 2 Singles), a fully equipped kitchen open to a large living room, 2 decks, a bathroom with toilet and shower . The chalet is fully insulated with reverse cycle AC and a wood fire (one night complimentary firewood). Bookings of more than two people will have access to the second bedroom. The space This is a spacious, self-contained, luxury chalet. The wooden design provides a cosy and inviting space for you to stay. We take sustainability seriously; to protect our environment the chalets have been doubly insulated, oriented to take maximum advantage of the sun, and the (rain) water is heated by a heat pump. Linen and towels are provided. Chalet 1, sleeps 4 people in two rooms. Room 1 contains a King-sized bed; Room 2 contains two single beds (can be made into a King size) and will be made available if more than two people have booked. There is a fully equipped kitchen open to a large lounge, and a bathroom with toilet and shower. Located on 50 acres of farmland, boasting views over the inlet, and paddocks. The beach is a short drive away, and we are located between Denmark and Albany (perfect for exploring both towns). Guest access Guests do not share the chalet with anyone else. The chalets are approx 50m apart. For booking of only 2 people, the second bedroom will be closed off. Other things to note Please note: We don't have WIFI in the chalets, however, we have 4g phone reception. Telstra works great. Please check your providers coverage map online for all other phone services. You will travel down approx 3km of gravel road to reach the chalet. This is easily acheived with a 2WD. Please drive to conditions and be aware your car WILL get dirty. We provide one bucket (one nights worth) of firewood in winter (includes kindling, firelighters and different size wood). Extra buckets/nights are $10 cash ( please request no later than 3pm on the day it is needed). You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. However, the chalet is very well insulated and warm with the reverse cycle AC. The tap water is safe to drink. It is filtered rain water. We provide all linen, towels, toiletries, basic kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies etc. Please be aware the fences ARE electric- be sure to let your children know. We do have farm animals here at Tennessee Hill. We cannot guarantee you will see them on your stay as we rotate them between farms depending on how much feed is in the paddocks/ water is the dams. We take fire very seriously here. We do have a small firefighting unit in case of emergency. Please do your part to keep us safe by not bringing any candles, ensuring your cigarettes are put out properly and not left on the ground outside, not lighting any small fires, leaving all ash in the fireplace for staff to deal with after your stay. You are welcome to wander around the property. Please respect the privacy of other chalet guests and the owners and managers residences. Registration Details STRA6330WU6C23GD
