You will be very comfortable in the Bathurst heritage precinct when you stay in our centrally located cottage. The cottage is a 5 minute stroll (i.e 3 city blocks) to the city centre including cafes, shops, pubs, clubs, cinema, parks and the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC). We have a high chair, change table and cot on request. Pets are welcome on request (subject to agreeing our conditions) at Maeve’s Cottage for an additional fee The space Maeve’s Cottage is a passion project. We are gradually renovating this Victorian workman’s cottage . The house has two spacious bedrooms. Both rooms have new double beds and mattresses as well as feather doonas and electric blankets to help combat the famously frosty Bathurst mornings. The kitchen is newly renovated. It features a gas top stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Tea, coffee and basic pantry essentials are provided. The lounge is sunlit and focused on your comfort. It has new lounges (one being a sofa bed), a 40’’ TV with a chromecast (allowing you to use the high speed internet to watch whatever you like!) and is heated or cooled by reverse cycle air conditioning and gas heating. The newly renovated bathroom features a luxurious rainwater shower head. It is located just off the sun-filled second sitting area with a designated work zone. The large deck, leading to the backyard, is the perfect place for outdoor drinks or dining as you watch the sun go down and listen to the bells from the historic Carillon War Memorial. We have a gas BBQ for your convenience and large outdoor dining setting . There is plenty of all day street parking as well as rear access parking.The house also has a laundry for your convenience.
