Lambhus Cabins

Enjoy the views of Vatnajökull Glacier in your own private cabin. This is a fully licensed family run accommodation. The cabins have sleeps for up to 4 guests as well as a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Every cabin has free wi-fi. Guests can bring their own food and cook simple meals or visit restaurants in the vicinity. Nearby, you will find beautiful hiking trails and various activities, including glacier hiking, snowmobile or jeep tours and boat tours on glacier lagoons. The space We are located at the farm Lambleiksstaðir (30 km west of Höfn, 50 km east of the Glacier Lagoon). We offer accommodation in 20m² (215ft²) cabins. The cabins have sleeps for up to 4 guests in a double bunk bed (140 x 200 cm) and in a sofa bed. Bed linen and towels are included. The cabins are equipped with: WC & shower. (Unfortunately, we are not located in a geothermal area so we heat the water with electricity. The hot water tank in each cabin gives approximately 30 min. of hot water. It takes 4 hours to refill the tank), Wi-fi, electric heating, hairdryer, head & body wash, 2 hot plates, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, tableware, pots and pans, dish washer liquid, table & chairs. Guests are expected to wash and dry dishes and kitchen utensils before departure. Apart from that, final cleaning is included. Lambhus cabins is a NON-SMOKING accommodation. We do not provide any food nor beverage. The next convenience store is in Höfn (25km). We have also nice restaurants in the vicinity. Guest access Our guests have their own private cabin. It is a one room cabin with a double bunk bed, sofa bed, kitchenette and seating area as well as a bathroom with shower. All cabins offer a view to the outlets of Vatnajokull Glacier.
