There are seven guest bedrooms on the property, each with an ensuite bathroom. The property has spacious gathering areas, a fully equipped kitchen, a private hiking trail to a scenic overlook, outdoor hot tub, dry sauna, and peaceful surroundings. Meadow Creek accommodates up to 16 overnight guests, making it ideal for family reunions and group getaways. Five bedrooms are located in the main lodge, one private suite is connected to the lodge with its own exterior entrance, and the Cabin in the Meadow offers additional privacy just steps away. Plush towels, bathrobes, toiletries, complimentary coffee, cookware, pantry basics, are provided for your stay. Outside, enjoy the private hiking trail, outdoor hot tub, dry sauna, BBQ grills, tabletop fire pit, yard games, and frequent wildlife sightings throughout the property. If you're planning to exchange vows during your stay, we'd be honored to host you. Because weddings require additional preparation and use of the property beyond a typical lodging stay, all ceremonies require advance approval and a separate event fee. Other things to note Arrival & Departure: ✦ Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out requests require at least 48 hours' notice and approval. ✦ While cleaning is included, we ask that you leave the lodge in a clean and respectful condition. ✦ Our on-site caretakers live on the property and are available if you need assistance during your stay. During Your Stay: ✦ Maximum overnight occupancy is 16 guests, including children over the age of two. Additional overnight guests or daytime visitors require prior approval. ✦ Well-behaved, house-trained pets are welcome with prior approval and an additional fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture and should not be left outdoors unattended or off leash. ✦ There is no central air conditioning. Cool mountain evenings and open windows keep the lodge comfortable during the summer and we have floor fans. In the winter, each room has its own thermostat for heat. ✦ The Grand Room and Sun Suite include Smart TVs. Feel free to log in to your favorite streaming services during your stay. ✦ There is a Safeway grocery store in Conifer (about 15 minutes away) for groceries. Pine also has a small general store less then 5 minutes with basic essentials. The Property: ✦ Wildlife is part of everyday life at Meadow Creek. Deer, elk, birds, rabbits, chipmunks, and other native Colorado wildlife are frequently seen on the property. A black bear also lives in the area. Please enjoy wildlife from a respectful distance, never feed animals, and do not leave food, coolers, or trash outside or in your vehicle. ✦ Our property includes stairs, elevated decks, and uneven walking surfaces outdoors. Children should be supervised at all times and guests should use caution throughout the property. ✦ The private hiking trail is about 1.3 miles roundtrip, with roughly 200 feet of elevation gain on the way up. This is a natural, rustic trail. Expect uneven dirt path, rocks, roots, and seasonal obstacles. Closed toe shoes with good traction are recommended. At the top, you'll find a scenic overlook with a panoramic view of the foothills and mountains. ✦ To help protect the property and preserve its historic furnishings, please do not rearrange furniture or move furniture between rooms or between the indoors and outdoors. Winter Travel: ✦ Meadow Creek is accessible year-round from Highway 285. Winter weather can change quickly so please be prepared for snow and icy conditions between November-May. ✦ The driveway is plowed following snowfall, and we do our best to clear and treat walkways before your arrival and during your stay. Please use caution around icy surfaces, stairs, decks, the hot tub, and areas where icicles may form. House Rules: ✦ Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbors. ✦ No smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted outdoors only in designated areas and must be disposed of safely in provided receptacles. ✦ No open campfires, fireworks, or sparklers. Fire danger is high throughout much of the year and seasonal fire restrictions may be in effect. ✦ No weapons, hunting, or fishing on the property. ✦ Do not enter the barns. They are historic structures used for storage. ✦ Please use the hot tubs and saunas responsibly and at your own risk.
