No cleaning fee! Central to Salt Lake and Provo/skiing. SMALL STUDIO (cute but very SMALL bathroom) Best for travelers/professionals. Because of size it is NOT well suited for locals, honeymooners or staying “in” all day. If extra cleaning is needed a fee may be assigned. NO shoes inside. Separate entrance but shares walls with host/other guests. Expect household “motion” (Hotel type…but cleaner and cuter!) No Pets or children. Large vehicles may find parking tight. *Wall bed w/queen mattress. The space 🔅Please read thoroughly before booking: The Charm House is a comfy and cozy studio-type suite with a private entrance. It’s a self contained space on the main level of our home (two stairs). It is NOT a shared space but it IS attached to the home that we live in full-time. We are a family of mom and KIDS (four kids who like to laugh and sing. You just might get an unexpected serenade). For guests who don’t intend to party too hard and have nothing to hide, you will love the safe and wholesome energy of The Charm House. *This space can accommodate 2-people max and is not recommended for infants or children. It’s also not suited for stays longer than one’s ability to not cook or do laundry. It’s close to restaurants and stores, as well as many Utah delights. Enjoy the: ☀️Private entrance with keyless code entry for self check-in ☀️Dinning table ☀️kitchenette only (no cooking) ☀️ Smart TV with Netflix (only) ☀️ No parties or events Sitting room includes a small couch, two chairs and a smart TV with Netflix only (no cable). The *wall bed has a queen pillow top mattress/memory foam, sheets, comforter, and a variety of blankets and pillows. We also have a 2 suitcase racks to conveniently accommodate a large suitcase, a coat rack and a space to hang a few items. (Please don’t place luggage on furniture without the provided pad protector). The kitchenette area has a SMALL preparation space. It also has a bistro style table for two. You may not be able to cook a gourmet meal but you most certainly will be able to make a packed lunch, or reheat a simple meal. Includes a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. NO stove. Best suited for simple meals. Guest access Enter the home via the private entrance located on the left side of the house by going through the red gate. The studio door is on the left side of the house. Self check-in with key pad on the studio front door. You will have the studio area of our home to yourself. It is self contained. Guest parking is on the right side of the house on the wood-chip area. Pull right up to the fence line. The parking space is shared with other guests. Larger vehicles may find parking a little tight. Other things to note *All guests must register who will be staying before entering the property. Allowed up to a total of 2 guests. Not recommend for infants or children. *Check-out is by 10 AM *One vehicle per booking. Arrangements need to be made for more parking. *Overnight visitors are not permitted unless included on the initial reservation. *Please, no shoes inside *The TV has Netflix only- we do not have cable or local channels available. WiFi is dependable BUT not perfect. *All mattresses, linens and towels are new or newer. Mattresses are always covered with protectors. All linens are cleaned between guests. *On our end we GUARANTEE normal FAMILY related NOISE from 6 am TO 11 pm or later. (Life with teenagers) Weekend noise levels will fluctuate. We are trying hard to “tiptoe” and use “inside” voices. You may/will hear footsteps, possible teenage voices-likely singing, laughing, and other silly shenanigans. During school days/hours it is nearly dead silence. ****The space on the other side of the bathroom and double doors is the hosts foyer and a hall. *The bathroom is very SMALL. Small shower, small sink, small mirror. Not recommend for exceptionally tall or wide folks or you’ll be cursing my name! ***Due to many clogged toilets we sadly now only supply 1-ply TP…clogs decreased significantly but rougher on the bum. But lucky for us…we have a “bidet”. Reviews: Airbnb tends to steer guests to be critical in their reviews which tends to feel stressful for guests and me as the host. I only leave 5-star reviews for guests or I don’t review at all if a guest was less than stellar. (However, I sometimes get behind on reviews so IF a review is important to you, please reach out and remind me). Guest reviews can definitely sway a host if they will accept a booking and Your reviews of hosts can make or break a family run business. If you tend toward nitpicking, I kindly ask that you consider a different booking. I do However ask, at check out, for “private” feedback. I take it to heart. Welcome home!
