Rental unit in Oakland

Our large studio, comfortably accommodates 2 and is located in a beautiful and older, established neighborhood of Craftsman homes. Located half a block from Piedmont, close to transportation, shopping, great restaurants and Lake Merritt! The space This spacious (approximately 550 sq ft) studio apartment with its own entrance is located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Craftsman homes on the Piedmont border. Recently renovated by the owner/designer, it is fresh and clean and furnished with vintage furniture and art. The apartment has been painted in a neutral palette with slipcovers of brushed denim and Pottery Barn bed linens and accents. The apartment has a sleeping area with a queen size bed with a firm Sealy Posturepedic Pillow Top mattress and a sitting area with a small sofa, easy chair and work table/dining table. We have Sonic internet, and television with Netflix streaming. There is a private bath with a shower. The kitchen with stove, refrigerator, small oven (A Breville Smart oven that toasts, roasts, bakes and broils) and microwave is fully equipped. Step out the kitchen door and there is a small private garden for morning coffee. We request that all guests remove their shoes while in the apartment. In order to provide the cleanest and safest apartment possible, we have recently added a new cleaning protocol. We are resting the apartment a minimum of 1 day between guests and more when possible. We are also providing cleaning supplies for our guests, consisting of surface cleaner, surface disinfectant, hand sanitizer and gloves. We want our guests to be assured that we are committed to providing the most enjoyable experience possible. Close to shopping, buses and the freeway with a walk score of 80, the location is convenient and easily walkable. You will find great restaurants, Peet’s Coffee, Philz Coffee, local cinema, markets and bakeries near by. Rockridge Bart is a 10 minute drive and UC Berkeley is 5 miles away. Lake Merritt is a few blocks from home and a beautiful place to walk; the Farmers Market at the lake on Saturday has excellent produce, organic meats and cheeses and locally grown flowers. The apartment is self catering and fully dedicated to our Airbnb guests; you have your privacy but we are here if you need anything. We stock the apartment with coffee, tea, and basics. If there is anything you would like us to stock we will do our best to accommodate you. This is a great spot to work and play and a perfect alternative to generic hotels. We request a full profile, also a bit about yourself and what brings you to Oakland; we also appreciate good reviews. There is no smoking on the premises and we request that all guests remove their shoes while in the apartment. No tax is collected of stays over 31 days. I live upstairs with my 2 rescue dogs, Bean and Dottie (they are about 30 lbs)
