Deluxe Queen Room at the Inn at 2nd & C
Deluxe Queen Room at the Inn at 2nd & C
Description
Overlooking Humboldt Bay in Eureka's Historic District, our family-owned boutique Inn is nestled inside the Historic Eagle House, established in 1888. Our Deluxe Queen rooms are more spacious than our Classic Rooms, featuring a queen bed and Victorian charm you won't find anywhere else. Some rooms include a TV — just let us know if that's important and we'll do our best to accommodate. Room assignments and photos are subject to availability. Book early! The space The Historic Eagle House is more than a place to sleep — it's a destination unto itself. Our Grand Theatre Ballroom and Phatsy Kline's Parlor Lounge bring live music, weekly events, and in-house dining to both locals and traveling guests alike, making every stay a little more memorable than the last. Because we are an active event venue, we encourage you to check our event calendar before you arrive so you know what's happening during your stay. If something catches your eye and you'd like more details — or if you'd prefer a room on a specific floor — just give us a call or drop us an email and we'll do our best to accommodate. Most events wrap up between 10pm and 11pm and, more often than not, our hotel guests find they enhance the experience rather than interrupt it. That said, if lively isn't your speed, we kindly ask that you cancel at least three days before arrival so we can open your room to someone who can't wait to join the party. Beyond our doors, Old Town Eureka's boutique shops, celebrated restaurants, and local museums are just steps away. And when the open road calls, the ancient Redwood forests, the wild Pacific Coast, and Humboldt's scenic rivers are all within easy reach — waiting to remind you why Northern California is unlike anywhere else on earth. Guest access Guests of the Inn enjoy access to our beautifully preserved Victorian common spaces — from the grand entry and sweeping staircase to cozy nooks perfect for curling up with a book. Unwind in our dedicated yoga room, mats provided. Step downstairs to Phatsy Kline's Parlor Lounge, our intimate library bar serving handcrafted cocktails, tapas, and live events Wednesday through Saturday. The Grand Theatre Ballroom hosts live music and community events throughout the week. And just outside our front door, Old Town Eureka's boutique shops, celebrated restaurants, and local galleries are all within easy walking distance. Other things to note Besides the 23 guest-room boutique Inn, The Historic Eagle House houses two top restaurants and cocktail lounges, Phatsy Kline's Parlor Lounge and Gallaghers Irish Pub for six night a week dining. We encourage our guests to explore the entire building, from our 4th floor common area that overlooks Humboldt Bay and Marina to the 2nd floor Yoga room and the ground floor grand theater ballroom. You will experience a piece of history around every corner and make amazing memories to bring back home with you! Furnished private rooms for multi-week or multi-month stays are also available during the winter months and include use of a shared kitchen. As mentioned in the property details, our building also houses multiple event spaces, where music, dance, yoga, mixers, and theater happen several nights a week. Most events are held in our Grand Theater Ballroom or in Phatsy Kline's Parlor Lounge, both located on our ground floor and are free for our hotel guests unless the event is private. Check out our event calendar to view our upcoming in-house events and our community calendar to see all the fun things happening in Humboldt, especially during the time of your stay. If an event is happening during your stay and you'd like to get more information about it or request to have a room on a specific floor, please email or call our front desk and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. If you feel that the specific event isn't your "cup of tea" or you prefer to stay at an uneventful and humdrum hotel, please cancel your stay at least three days before your arrival. Most events end between 10pm and 11pm and rarely affect our hotel guests except for making their experience better than they expected!
