Roomy Studio with Private Entrance on Leafy Street
Description
Your private studio is a warm, bright 300 sq ft. space with a modern bathroom and a separate entrance. We're on a quiet residential street in the lower Oakland Hills, with ample free street parking and easy freeway access to San Francisco. Please note: The studio is professionally cleaned before every guest, according to Airbnb’s cleaning recommendations. The space The studio is a very generous size, with plenty of space for 2 people to stay in warmth and comfort. We've set it up to be very livable, with lots of room around the comfy queen sized bed, both closet and dresser space (plus bookshelves if you really want to settle in!), and a large desk and office chair for being productive. The recently installed bathroom is fresh and modern, with a nice powerful shower. We provide a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, so you can prepare breakfast and snacks. The large sink doubles as a dish washing station for your morning cereal. We offer a fast Wifi connection in addition to the spacious desk, so it's good for getting work done. We're pretty quiet, and your space is below our dining and living rooms, so at night especially we won't disturb you - our bedroom and bathroom are at the other end of the house. Guest access Your private entrance is to the side of the house up 20 steps (we're on a sloping lot), and is situated back from the quiet street. There's no access from the studio to the main house so you'll have your privacy and can come and go as you like. Other things to note Please be aware that there are 20 steps leading up to the studio, so this may not be a good choice for those who have difficulty with stairs. Out of an abundance of caution, we have removed the red armchair shown in some photos, since it's harder to sanitize fully between guests. You're welcome to use the washer and dryer in our house - just ask! Anthony works from home so is usually around during weekdays.
