Welcome to Grafton Getaway - Overlook Lodge, a secluded 33 acre property overlooking Lockhaven Public Golf Course and the Mississippi River Valley. This one a kind property sleeps 35 and sits on a hilltop at the end of the road with similar amenities as our Cabin, Farm, and Riverhouse locations. At all locations we hope to host your next couples, family, or group getaway or special event. The Lodge is just 12 minutes from Grafton, IL and 40 minutes from Lambert Airport in St. Louis, MO The space The Lodge is spacious and full of amenities such as foosball, ping pong, putting green, 85 inch Smart Tv, Solarium, Sauna, Hot tub, arcade games, family games, hammocks, Adirondack chairs, firepits, and a second full kitchen in the lower level. Walking in our woods is encouraged. Our pond and lake are stocked with fish. We have three kayaks, a paddle boat, and dingy boat for guest use. We have staggered per person pricing - please inquire as we must receive an accurate guest count. We specialize in corporate retreats, yoga retreats, weddings, church groups, and family reunions. Weekend bookings are 12 guest minimum. We are an easy 35-45 minute commute from the Saint Louis, MO metro and are located between Alton, IL and Grafton, IL Guest access ample parking on our concrete driveway. also park in the grass if needed. Other things to note *We utilize staggered pricing so an accurate overnight guest count is imperative and must be confirmed prior to check in. Additional guests are $35 per person per night. The app will calculate this for you up to the 16th guest and beyond that we manually calculate it. Weekend stays during high season are priced at a 14 guest minimum. *For outdoor events we have an open 3 car garage area with folding tables/chairs to act as a Plan B rain if Mother Nature interferes with your special day. *Lodge tours are available to see if our property is a great fit for your special event. No walking onto the golf course. *The long driveway is shared with our Cottage location which is to the north of the Lodge and which is a separate stay. It can be rented in conjunction with the Lodge at a separate price...please inquire. *All smoking must take place outdoors. Any evidence of anything being smoked indoors (pot, vape, cigs) will result in an additional $150 cleaning fee and lifetime ban from all Grafton Getaway Guesthouses. *Guests at hotels call the front desk when they need something...if ever during your stay you feel your satisfaction is not at a 5-star level please call/text us right away, while you are still with us, so we can remedy the situation and make your stay all you hoped it would be.
