Welcome to our peaceful country riverside retreat! We're only 2 miles from downtown Hillsboro. In the heart of wine country and alongside the Tualatin river. Take a short drive to wineries or a 5 minute drive to historical downtown Hillsboro where you will find shopping, coffee, antiques and more! Feeling outdoorsy? Hike nearby at Baldpeak State Park, Walk the Fernhill Wetlands or Kayak down the Tualatin River. There is lots to do here, you'll enjoy your stay. The space Our lovely riverside retreat is approximately 500 sq ft open floor plan (studio). Full bathroom (no bathtub) and kitchenette. There is a private entry in a separate building from the host, with parking. The sliding door looks out onto the wetlands. In some area's of the property you may see the River this depends on the time of year. Listen to natures surroundings while you stay, unplug because it is so peaceful out here. Guest access You will be given an access code prior to check-in with a keyless entry door. Everything you need is here. If you have any special requests or suggestions on something that would be a great addition please let us know. We're here to serve you. Our priority is to make your stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Extended Stay Guests: We welcome extended stays but please thoroughly review amenities as this may not meet your needs. There is no washer or dryer in the airbnb. At request we can offer laundry service with advance notice and a small fee. We do have recommendations for a nearby laundry service. We will charge additional cleaning fees for stays over 7 days and will arrange to come in weekly to replenish towels, change sheets and clean. Our standard cleaning fee is for 7 day reservations only. Other things to note ADDITIONAL AMENITY DETAILS: * Keyless door entry. A code will be sent the day of your reservation. * Fully stocked bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, cosmetic cotton rounds, hair dryer, first aid items and a few necessities in case you forgot. Such as; floss, mouth wash, feminine pads, disposable razors etc. * Well equipped kitchenette- fridge, hot plate for cooking, microwave, k-cup coffee brewer and toaster. Toaster oven upon request as it is bulky. Cabinets hold pots, pans, dishes, etc. There are a few snacks, coffee, tea, creamer and sugar available for you. Spices and olive oil. The fridge has water and a few other drinks that change. (items will vary per stay) * TV available with a large variety of movies and basic cable. Working on internet but it is currently not available. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * Fire extinguisher is located under the bathroom sink. *We're on septic system. PLEASE: Dispose of any garbage and personal care items in provided waste receptacles in the kitchenette area and bathroom. Only natural waste and toilet paper can be flushed thank you. *For longer extended stays we set up a schedule for cleaning service preferred every 5 to 7 days. *We offer Farm Fresh Organic Eggs from our farm to purchase. Just let us know we would be happy to provide some before you arrive or during your stay. PLEASE NOTE: * We maintain a “no pet” policy. * Riverside Retreat is best suited & equipped for 2 adults. There may be an exception for additional guest(s) upon inquiry at an additional fee. When submitting a request inform the host of your group it is possible no extra charge will be necessary. It is noted for additional fee as a standard policy. ACKNOWLEDGE: There are animals that reside behind our barn and near and behind the studio suite. You will hear them and see them out the back window. Although it's very peaceful out here you may here my chickens and my goats talking. I want to make it clear by informing our guests of the setting here at Riverside Retreat. I do know that your stay will be exceptional and a great getaway. All of our guests compliment on how beautiful and peaceful it is so we know this will be the case and you'll enjoy your stay.
