Driving up to the house we fell in love with the breathtaking views before we even stepped inside. We hope you will too. It is easy to unwind and relax while having your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the large deck overlooking the Sierra Blanca Mountains and the top of Ski Apache. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the deer that roam the area in the early morning and at dusk. But you don’t have to be on the deck to enjoy the view. This humble ranch style home offers amazing mountain views from almost every room. When you step inside through the French doors, you’re welcomed with a vaulted ceiling, a wood burning river rock fireplace and a wall of large windows. The open concept kitchen, living and dining room allow you to gather together and enjoy the amazing views, even while doing the dishes. Both bedrooms have French doors that open onto the large deck. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, allowing for greater privacy. We’ve been updating the inside of the house over the last couple of years and while it isn’t a grand home, we decided it was time to share this special place with others. Come see for yourself, why we named it Majestic Views Mountain Retreat. Please be aware there is some street noise, especially during the day. It tends to quiet down in the evenings. Please read the House Rules and other information under Things to Know. We will consider dogs (see house rules regarding bringing your dog) There is a local contact available In addition to the views, the house offers a great location. It is just minutes from the base of the ski mountain, Alto Lake and Lincoln National Forest. Even the quaint downtown area is just a short drive away. This is a great spot for those who want to get away and enjoy the peace and beauty of Ruidoso. Please note there will be a $100 lost charge if key is lost to replace locks. WINTER VISITORS- PLEASE READ If visiting during the winter months and we have snow, you may need 4-wheel drive to get to the house. You may also need snow chains if you plan to go up the ski mountain. Please note, we can not predict the weather, but if you are coming to the mountains during the winter be prepared for snowy and icy conditions.
