Welcome to the Cope-a-abana! You will have your own private room & shared bath. This centrally-located home is great for long term stays or a quick getaway. Comfortably furnished & conveniently located to freeways (880 & 680/280)&walking distance to grocery stores, dining, malls, parks&attractions. Less than 1 mile to: Santana Row Valley Fair mall Winchester Mystery House 7-11 ~35min drive to beach-Santa Cruz The space The room has a dedicated workspace, comfortable queen bed and sizable closet. You may have the entire house to yourself or share it with another guest and / or occasionally the home owner (Owner travels frequently). Guest access You will have full access to the shared kitchen, living room, dining room and backyard. The living room has 2 big comfortable couches in front of a cozy instant-on gas fireplace and large smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped to whip up all your favorite meals, including high-end appliances: Vitamix blender, soda stream, coffee maker, air fryer and more The backyard, we hope you enjoy everything it has to offer: heated swimming pool, fire pit, sauna, hot tub, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen and large deck area, including a ping pong table and a dart board. There’s an upstair’s bathroom (Bill’s bathroom) also available for use if needed. The home’s water system was recently upgraded with Kind’s whole house water filter and softener! Other notable items you are welcomed to use large washer & dryer, piano, guitars, dart board, ping pong and poker table available on-site, driveway EV charging is available on-site (driveway) with prior approval. Please note a usage fee will apply. Other things to note You will have your own private room w/ a shared bath, all other areas are shared w/ me (Bill, the homeowner) and/or other guest(s). I travel often and will likely only be there a short amount of time during your stay if I'm in town at all. My room is in the attached extension / studio, away from the guest rooms. The entire house is a 4 bedroom 3 bath home. I'm a musician and may occasionally host concerts in the home, you are more than welcomed to listen in if you'd like. Guest safety is my biggest priority, there are 2 areas I would like to emphasis: please confirm you will follow the house rules, especially regarding the pool, hot tub, sauna and fireplace/ pit (children under 14 must be supervised when using these items, please use at your own risk- no lifeguard on duty). There are cameras on the property in the shared/ public areas only: backyard, front patio and the side of the house.. We may ask for a picture (selfie) with your ID to verify your identity. Usually we ask if you have a new account without a picture or reviews.
