Whittington Avenue Victorian with Private Garden

Our home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood of historic Whittington Park. Just a short walk through the tree lined park is Hot Spring's Bath House Row and the vibrant arts, architecture, shopping, and dining on Central Avenue. Guests have access to the whole house. When the queen bed is not reserved, the second bedroom is set up as a parlour. The space Our little Victorian is one of the remaining Queen Anne Style homes built along Whittington Park in the late 1890's. The home is fondly called "Sweet Annie." After working for years to restore Annie's loveliness, we are excited to invite you to share the delightful experience of our cozy little nest . We think you will be glad you did. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the whole house: kitchen, dining room, and full bath with clawfoot tub. The master bedroom suite, has an adjoining bathroom with a tiled shower. The parlour has a queen murphy bed that opens from it's carved wood cabinet. If the second bed is not needed the parlour is set up as such. Parking is available on the street in front of the house and there is space for one vehicle in the back driveway. Other things to note Our yard is a sanctuary for birds, with a sprawl of flowering hedges and a bit of wilderness along the adjacent creek. There is a patio for guest use within a 4' fence. Just across the street is Whittington Park and Hot Springs National Park's West Mountain trailhead. Miles of hiking trails are available! Due to the Corona Virus situation, we are practicing enhanced cleaning, with attention to disinfecting surfaces that are likely to be touched. Anyone who has been knowingly exposed to the Corona Virus or who is ill should either cancel their reservation or contact us about rescheduling. For healthy guests, your stay with Annie is a way to avoid crowds and enjoy a well equipped kitchen for being at home away from home.
