The perfect place for your next vacation or getaway at this amazing location on gorgeous Chautauqua Lake. Make lasting memories and enjoy all the amenities at our beautiful, newly renovated lake house! Just a five-minute drive from Bemus Point, one minute from Midway State Park, three minutes from Long Point State Park, and 13 minutes to Chautauqua Institution. The space We have renovated the entire interior and exterior of the house so you can expect a comfortable, tastefully-appointed home for your stay! The renovation includes central air conditioning and a gas fireplace. The house is nestled against a wooded backyard and features a large back deck. We highly value and encourage time spent with family & friends, enjoying the area, reading, playing games, etc. so please note, there is no TV. Our property includes lakefront which is a short, 5-10 minute walk down a road through the woods ,(also drivable if needed). There, we have a large, longer dock. (Note: though we currently do not have moorage for boats at the dock, you can use the marina at the state park for put in/take out.) Enjoy the dock for swimming, fishing and bird watching. You can also use the lakefront lawn area, fire pit and chairs for picnics and bonfires! In the warmer months, there are limitless activities all offered around the lake. Several local vendors rent boats, pontoons, kayaks and paddle boards. Bring, or rent bikes to enjoy rides through Long Point State Park which also has playgrounds, a beach, a marina, and a public boat launch. Midway State Park is a small, charming amusement park, just one minute from Pine Haven! The lively village of Bemus Point, just 5 minutes away, offers a number of great restaurants and shops as well as a 9-hole golf course. World-renowned Chautauqua Institution is another destination that affords lectures, art experiences, cultural classes, and musical events. You can also discover more local culture by visiting the National Comedy Center, Roger Tory Peterson Institute, The Jamestown Audubon Center, The Robert H. Jackson Center, The Fenton Museum and The Lucille Ball - Desi Arnaz Center in Jamestown...Home of 'Lucy'. Come enjoy the beauty of the region in the winter months! Spend the day skiing, snowboarding, or tubing at nearby resorts including Holiday Valley or Peek n Peak Resort (1 hour and 30 min drives, respectively). Bring your snowmobiles and enjoy the nearby network of trails, or get out on the lake for some ice fishing. Guest access You'll have access to the entire home (excluding the basement) during your stay. Other things to note Please note, any bookings from May 23rd through Oct 13th require a 5 night minimum. However, we do offer a 10% discount for any stays of 7 days or more.
