Country Home Clinton Lake

Our home on 7 acres has a view of Clinton Lake from the front porch. Private and quiet, the 3 bedroom house has many extra open spaces for gathering including a fully equipped gym, office space, and cozy living room with a wood stove. The home is located 7 minutes from Rock Chalk Park, 18 minutes from Downtown Lawrence and less than a mile from Clinton Lake. We invite your to explore our hiking trails, use our trampoline, ride our mountain bikes, use our kayak, and play our yard games. The space This our home. My wife and I have enjoyed the beauty of this place for 17 years. We are excited to have others come enjoy, explore, and relax. We will be renting you our entire home with the exception of our home office space in the garage. We may need to pop into the office from time to time. When you come to stay we will be staying in our travel trailer. Depending on the length of your stay we may just camp next to the garage. Or if you are staying longer we will probably head out to the State Park. We will be around to ask questions and get suggestions but if you prefer to be left alone that is great too. For stays longer than 3 days, we will need to come inside the house to feed and water our cat. We will do this during the day and never at night. Guest access You will have access to our home and 7 acres. The garage is our home office and is off limits to guests. During your stay, we will continue to use our garage. We have a sweet cat named Cicada. She is indoor/outdoor with use of her cat door. She is sweet but shy so you might not see much of her. You may hear her come munch on some food. The garage is off limits. We will need to come inside the house every 3 days to feed and water our cat.
