There are several other sleeping areas as well. Professional kitchen with gas cooktop, 3 ovens, oversize fridge/freezer. Mix of woods and prairies with trails. Massage Chair. Real wood fireplace. Patio with gas grill, eating area and lounging by a fire. The space You will approach the lodge up a 1,000 foot private driveway through the woods. The setting is gorgeous, overlooking a bluff and the scenic Knapp Hills. The main floor includes a gourmet kitchen with 3 electric ovens, 5 burner gas cooktop, 2 sinks, huge butcher block island and granite countetops. The dining area featrues a built in buffet for serving food and snacks. The living room has two couches, a second dining set all surrounding the wood fireplace (very easy to operate) and 60" flat TV that is connected to DISH and the DVD player. The sunroom (3 season) features a napping bed to enjoy 3 sides of screens. There is a library, giant mudroom and a stack washer and dryer. The second floor has three suites - all with private bathrooms! The largest has a king bed, a private den with a flat TV and luxurious bathroom with a soaking tub for two and walk in shower. Suite number 2 has a twin over queen bunk and a private bath. Suite 3 has three twin beds and its own private bath. The third floor features Suite 4, with 2 queen beds, a private loft (technically the 4th floor) and a private bath as well. Also on floor 3 is a sitting area and 20 X 20 rec room for your unique needs. Besides the listed beds and bedrooms, there are various inflatable beds plus 3 sofas and a queen bed in the sunroom (a little chilly in the winter though) There is about a 1 mile walking trail around the hilly property through woods and prairie. 105 Gallon water heater. Central Air (2). Wood Fireplace with plenty of firewood. This lodge is less than 1 hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul metro and 10 minutes to Menomonie. Menomonie is a lovely small university town with great theater, dining, night life, bike trails and more. Guest access Each party has a unique key code access for the length of your stay if we are unable to meet you at check in. We have some closets and cabinets closed off for personal belongings. Otherwise, the place is yours to use. If you have a question about something you can text or call me at any time. While there is privacy here, we do have neighbors who keep an eye on each other in the country. Therefore, any parties (besides calm gatherings) are not allowed. We also prefer no smoking on the property and certainly not in the house. Other things to note The lodge is close to bike trails, snowmobile trails, UW Stout, Cottage Winery and more. You will receive by email our house Manual within a couple days of check in. This Manual details much about our property and also lists our favorite hot spots in the area.
