This is a true log cabin built in the mid 80's that has been kept updated with new appliances and a new A/C and heating system. There is a real wood stove available to you for cold nights or just for the ambiance. The entire main cabin is private and available for our guests. Owners are nearby and could be available on short term notice for issues or maintenance needs, but otherwise would allow you to have your space. This is a sleepy rural community on a gravel road. There is a long driveway to access the cabin which provides privacy from the main road. Uber is available here but you'd most likely want to drive your car to get around. This location is far enough away from major cities to provide a the feeling of sanctuary, but within reach of so many fun destinations. There are so many unique and one of a kind experiences in the nearby towns of Jefferson, Braselton, Hoschton, Athens, Commerce, and Gainesville. We allow dogs but do charge a pet fee of $50 per pet to cover the cost of additional cleaning. No cats, due to allergies. We also require a pet addendum to be signed and returned prior to your stay.
