Situated on over 80 acres with private walking trails, view deck, terraced hillsides and magnificent sunsets, this is a perfect place to gather with special people or immerse yourself in a peaceful retreat. The spacious home has an open floor plan with quality craftsmanship throughout. Enjoy a chef's kitchen (granite & stainless steel), walnut floors and magnificent views from every window. Other things to note For larger groups, there is an additional outbuilding (small outside Tiny House within 100 feet of main house) that is available at additional cost if requested, to provide additional sleeping beds (1 queen loft bed, 1 downstairs queen sofa-bed). Please message for details. We have a long driveway (1+ miles), on a good gravel road, up to the top of the hill where the house is. You will need detailed directions, which are sent before check-in. There is good cell phone service on top of the hill at the house (although not at the base of the driveway by the river). This is a large property, and there may be care-takers on site, who stay in a separate building or separate part of the property. You may see our team doing landscaping/gardening or pool maintenance during your stay. However the entire main house, the decks and house entrance are private to you for your stay. For summer months - Gold Hill can get hot during the summer days! Highs in 80s/90s/100+, lows in 50s. The downstairs of the house has a cooling system that keeps it cool, but please note there is no central air conditioning. The evenings are cool. The pool is generally maintained from June 1 - Sept 15.
