Perfect setting for individuals or couples seeking a serene and secluded break The space “Beside the Willows” offers a spacious Kitchen/Lounge area which leads into a delightful double Bedroom with en-suite double shower. The Garden is accessed from the Bedrooms French doors which leads out onto a private decking area and your very own private Cedar Sauna & Riverside apartment with private Cedar Sauna & outside cold shower, overlooking The River Bure. The River Bure itself is just 1 of 200 Chalk Streams , with its own unique habitat providing a haven for native wildlife. Sit on the private deck or lay in bed with the French doors ajar drinking in a symphony of birdsong alongside the gentle murmur of running water. Witness many native species inc Heron, Wild Otter, Egret, Teal, Mallard, Swans and if your very lucky you may just spot a flash of shimmering blue as the Kingfisher darts it’s way up and down the river. The Sauna is available for you to use throughout your stay at no extra cost . Escape and Reset Sit back and enjoy your very own Cedar Sauna overlooking the spectacular views of the River Bure and water meadows beyond. For the ultimate reset~jump under the ice cold shower, located just outside the Saunas front door or take a dip in the river from the banks wooden steps. Guest access Beside the Willows is a downstairs annex of The Mill Cottage. On arrival we are the right hand drive next to The Itteringham Mill. Please drive slowly down the long driveway and make your way through the main gate~our friendly dogs ( Bobby and Rueben ) may be there to greet you so please drive carefully making sure to close the gate once through . The separate shared entrance ( with tenant ) is located on the right hand side of the property where you will find your own private parking spot. Once in, “Beside the Willows”is located on the right hand side of the first floor . Other things to note Beside the Willows is part of our family home and with that comes the normal ebb and flow of any home. For instance our friendly pets may greet you on arrival so please be mindful to always close the gate after you and please drive carefully down the driveway . The Lounge windows look out onto the Rose Garden and shared driveway so you may be able to see daily family life going on but should you wish to Wooden Roman blinds are provided and easily adjustable.
