La Casa de Bulnes is a cozy guesthouse in the heart of Palermo, Buenos Aires. We offer private rooms with en-suite bathrooms in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The space We live in a beautiful and spacious home (400 square meters) in the Palermo neighborhood. The house, built in 1898, has the traditional architecture of old Buenos Aires known as a "casa chorizo." There are a total of seven large rooms, six of which are available for travelers. Guests share a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy dining area, a lovely patio with a grill, and a 150-square-meter rooftop terrace with a wooden deck—perfect for sunbathing, playing foosball, or just enjoying the outdoors! This particular room is located in the center of the house and is a quadruple room. It has one double bed and two single beds on a mezzanine, accessed by a spiral staircase. All rooms for rent include a private bathroom, wardrobe, desk, heating, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. They are all very spacious and feature double beds. Matías is the host at La Casa de Bulnes. He’s 30 years old, passionate about meeting new people, and loves discovering new cultures and lifestyles. He’ll be happy to help you with anything you need during your stay in our beautiful city. Palermo is a trendy neighborhood full of culture, with restaurants, steakhouses, sushi bars, vegetarian food, nightlife, and more. It’s centrally located and safe, with easy access to public transport. The spirit of the house is to offer you a place where you can truly feel at home. Guest access The kitchen is very well equipped and is available 24 hours. Given that it is shared, it’s important to keep it clean and wash EVERYTHING that is used. We offer an industrial size refrigerator with plenty of space for each room. The kitchen is located off a picturesque and authentic patio with a grill which serves as the heart of the house. Upstairs, there is a massive rooftop terrace (150 sq meters) with a wood deck covered with plants and a “winter garden” which we use as a living, TV, and reading room. We offer a room cleaning service three times per week and a weekly change of sheets and towels. During your stay Both Matías and I have other responsibilities during the day that take up part of our time, but Mati, who lives in the house, is always around in the mornings and evenings. We’re also both available via WhatsAp in case you need anything. When guests arrive and during the check-in process, we create a group chat to stay in direct contact throughout your stay, just in case you have any questions or can’t find us at home. We love hosting travelers from around the world and always enjoy a good conversation or sharing a glass of wine in the kitchen. We’ll be happy to welcome you! Other things to note VERY IMPORTANT: -The house is located on the first floor, up one flight of stairs and, therefore, is not apt for people with motor difficulties. -This is an old, restored FAMILY HOME with rooms for rent, NOT A HOTEL. For that reason, we do not recommend this house for people who expect the amenities and comfort that a hotel may offer (for example, 24 hour reception desk attention).
