Most Cape Breton attractions are between 45 minutes and 2 hours from us — ideal for scenic day trips while enjoying peaceful waterfront evenings. Need more room? Rent our camper! The space This is a 4 bedroom home that will accommodate 12 guests with the following sleeping arrangements: (3 queens, 2 doubles, 1 single, a second pull out ottoman). The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need and the beds are quoted as the most comfy! Guest access The guests have the entire property to themselves. Explore the woods, find the swing, trampoline and climbing rope. Enjoy the fire pit. Walk to the provincial beach (Pondville Beach- 5 min walk or 2 min drive). Please bring your own beach towels ! Other things to note There is a shallow stream that runs through the back of the property. Please do not leave young children unattended. There will also be a few animals roaming the field, far enough that you can ignore. Or if you’re an animal lover, close enough that you can visit. If you do bring your pet (S), please note that there is a 25$ fee. And please keep your pets on a leash. This is an old historic home with lower than normal ceilings. It can be crooked in places !It was not made for a 6’5+ man! There is a fire pit. Firewood can be purchased. The water is well water. We advise guests to bring their own water if weary. We provide a water cooler for 10L jugs. But we do not guarantee a full jug! Please ensure wifi calling is activated on your phones settings to receive and make phone calls. The wifi is strong but the cell service is limited. The stairs leading to the four bedrooms are narrow. Please use caution. Make the most of your stay with stand-up paddle board rentals, available directly to our Airbnb guests. Perfect for calm mornings, sunset paddles, or exploring the shoreline at your own pace. We have 6 paddle boards available for rental, ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups.
