Once you come, you won't want to leave this beautiful, one-of-a-kind space. The space Vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces, original frescoes and antiques are the main elements of this B&B located in the heart of the medieval village of Palaia. The building, which dates back to the year 1000 when it was part of the fortification walls of the castle, was completed in its current form in 1800 and restored a few years ago. It's now a paradise for lovers of historic homes and past atmospheres - not surprising since the owners' grandparents were antique and, getting lost in the hallways and historic rooms, it seems that everything has remained as it used to be. Every morning, you can enjoy one of the best breakfasts in the area. Guest access Guests have access to a shared outdoor garden and can access the room using a key. During your stay Guests enjoy complete freedom during their stay. However, our staff is available at the reception during the day for any needs or assistance. Other things to note Located in the medieval village of Palaia, in one of the most unknown and pristine areas of Tuscany, Antica Dimora Leones is an enchanting 19th century villa surrounded by gardens. From here, it's easy to visit the cities on the hills of illustrated books in Tuscany. Explore the beautiful countryside on foot, on horseback, or by bicycle. San Miniato and Volterra are about a half-hour drive. You can enjoy a typical Tuscan breakfast, surrounded by the olive groves of the beautiful garden overlooking the medieval church of Palaia.
