The space This beautifully remodeled apartment is spacious, private, and filled with light. Guests self-check-in through the hosts' kitchen and ascend 9 steps up to the apartment through a digitally accessed door. The kitchenette contains a table with chairs and bench to accommodate 4. It is well equipped with induction two burner cooktop, microwave, mini fridge, copper sink, coffee and tea makers, pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The two bedrooms both have premium queen size mattresses and high quality cotton sheets. The Beaver Room presents a Pacific Northwest decor, and the Bali Room is outfitted from the hosts' travel in Indonesia, including a batik bedspread purchased directly off the artist's clothesline in rural Bali. There is a combo bath and shower in the sparkling clean bathroom. When requesting a reservation, please share a little about yourself and the person(s) traveling with you. People and dog not referenced in the reservation will not be allowed to stay. Guest access Living in this residential location for >10 years has been ideal for easy access to shopping, rich variety of restaurants, and Beaverton Farmers Market -- all in the immediate area -- everything you might want is only minutes away by car. We are 7 minutes to Nike HQ, 10 minutes to the Zoo and hiking trails in the Arboretum, 15 minutes to downtown Portland, and 75 minutes to the coast. Secure off-street parking is available, and hosts can accommodate bikes and kayaks in the garage. The Sunset Center for MAX public transit is a 5 minute cab ride, and hosts may help with pickup and dropoff. Other things to note An 11 year-old dog is part of the household. Ravi is a Coton, a 13 pound neutered male. He takes his self-appointed role as guardian of the house seriously, and barks when people arrive. Dogs and their families are warmly welcomed, and please anticipate a friendly wag-n-sniff time. Ravi can also take up temporary quarters in a bedroom in case small children have doggy anxiety.
