The Boathouse, private downtown Harborside suite

The Boathouse is a detached one bedroom studio apartment situated behind our home in the heart of Historic downtown Milford. Through a private entrance you will discover a thoughtfully furnished bedroom (queen bed & pull out couch), dining room, full kitchen & bath. It is ideally suited for a couple/small family looking for a memorable beachtown getaway. Walk, rent bikes/kayaks, shop, dine, enjoy art, music, or a day at the beach… our quintessential New England seaside town is sure to charm you! The space Location, location, location! We are two blocks from the train station, town Green, downtown shops & restaurants, harbor, and a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach. -0.3 mile to train station (1.5 hr trip from Grand Central, NYC; 15 min to New Haven) -0.2 miles to downtown (restaurants, shops, town Green, etc.) -0.7 mile to Fort Trumbull Beach -0.1 mile to Milford Harbor Marina/city pier -1.4 mile to Silver Sands State Park Guest access Self-check in with keypad code provided upon arrival. Our guests have one dedicated parking spot behind the main house, off the street. (Additional vehicles will need to use street parking in front of the main house.) Other things to note Our TV is a Smart TV. No cable or local channels; Guests use their own accounts for Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am, out of respect for guests who are staying upstairs in our other AirBnB, The Sail Loft. Please note the stepping stones to the private entrance of The Boathouse are not handicapped-accessible.
