This spacious suite is peaceful, & wooded with separate entrance, patio, wifi, full kitchen, bathroom, one bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, TV (uses fire stick, wifi, no cable). Please note the bed and the couch are in the same room. The space This Suite is not a separate building, it is the downstairs of our house but is totally independent, with it's own entrance, kitchen, bedroom and shower. Please note that there is only one bedroom; with both a queen bed and a couch queen bed in this one room. The kitchen is separate. We are unique also because we live in a rural setting, yet are within a few miles of - Mohonk, apple orchards, vineyards, 5 colleges, The Walkway Over the Hudson, and we are 10 minutes from the train to NYC. Please see our visitor Guidebook for more info. Also please note that though our bnb is relatively quiet, you can hear some sounds from us upstairs. We try very hard to be quiet. We cannot host young children as this is an old house and not sound proof. Also my husband is highly allergic to pets of all kinds. Guest access The apartment is naturally cool all summer long because of the two foot wide, stone masonry walls that line it. You have a totally separate entrance and can come and go at your leisure. Yet if you need anything we are right up the stairs. -- *Information for super sensitive folks - The suite is the downstairs of our house - we have an air circulator, purifier, fan and dehumidifier activated, and the air is good. Please consult with us if you still have concerns. Parking: Is in the gravel spot marked "visitor parking" on the side of the house. Feel free to turn around in the back before driving out. The driveway is long and not straight. * Please take note ~ If you have a reservation for two and then decide to have a guest stay over, there will be an additional $10 charge per guest, per night. ** Also please note that the suite is not set up to accommodate young children younger than age 10. Other things to note 1. We have a 52" Toshiba TV - we do not offer cable, but the tv can run on wifi (Amazon accounts) and also Blu-Ray (videos, of which we have a great assortment). There are brochures in the apartment of local businesses, restaurants, sights to see, hikes and emergency info. 2. Local points of interest Please see our Guidebook and pamphlets on the desk. 3. Check-out time: 11Am. Please wash any dishes you have used. You may take the sheets off if you wish, but it is not necessary. Wet towels can go in the hamper. You can text Kit five minutes before you leave and if she can, she'll come say goodbye, if her schedule permits. Otherwise double check you have everything, then leave the key on the table, lock and pull the door shut behind you.
