Sleepy Willow Waterfront 2-Bedroom Cottage

Relax and have fun in this spacious cottage, stocked with everything you need. Waterfront with four kayaks, a paddleboard, a canoe, a row boat, and eight river tubes all available for your use. If you prefer to stay on land, there is a large two person hammock located in the shade of the willow tree, outdoor games, or enjoy the large deck where you can lounge and have a meal. Inside you will find board/card games, dvds, and a ping pong table that can convert to a pool table or air hockey. The space Quiet lake like waterfront setting has plenty of options to keep everyone entertained. This area of the Muskegon River has almost no current, making the 810 acres of the Rogers Pond setting seem much more like a lake than a river. A large sandbar, just East of the cottage, provides kids hours of enjoyment chasing tad poles and catching minnows. In addition to the water toys, there are multiple yard games available, such as corn hole, giant jenga, and connect-four. Highspeed WiFi is provided that is strong enough for multiple users to stream video simultaneously, with a range that ensures access throughout the cottage or from outside on the deck. The TV includes Roku and Netflix access. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, bakeware, utensils, and basic spices. There is both a drip coffee maker and a french press available for your morning caffeine. Guest access There is plenty of parking in the driveway for multiple vehicles Other things to note Reminder that the cottage is on a river and part of the charm is that it is a living and ever changing environment. That said, we do recommend water shoes as there may be branches or twigs in the water. There is crate of varied sizes of water shoes available in the outdoor game shed. Additionally, any usage of the kayaks, paddle board, canoe, row boat, and river tubes is done so at your own risk.
