Other things to note To enjoy a more comfortable ride on JR Yamanote Line, we recommend avoiding weekday rush hours, especially: Morning peak: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM Evening peak: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM JR Ōtsuka Station can be very crowded during these times, particularly with commuters heading to or from central Tokyo.
