I thought you may like to know a little about me. I relocated to Tenbury Wells after selling my previous Bed & Breakfast, in Cumbria. I opened Number 43 in a stunning location and I am really proud of Team 43, the awards and accolades and positive coverage in all the newspapers and various glossy magazines during my 16 years there. We were awarded 5*Gold from ‘Visit England’ as well as their coveted Breakfast Award. As we all know, achieving is one issue, maintaining is quite another. We were so thrilled when we were then awarded the Best Bed and Breakfast in Cumbria and the following year the Best Bed and Breakfast in England by Visit England, that was an evening to remember! Moving on, to be awarded an entry in the Michelin Guide as Extra Special Accommodation is again phenomenal, the Michelin Guide is unbiased: we were visited by an anonymous inspector and there is no charge to accommodation provider. My ethos when planning Number 43 was to offer a high standard of services buying locally where possible, hence I source those whom I consider to be the best producers to supply us, the same ethos I am using for Morningside Cottage. Some of those producers are now supplying Morningside Cottage, whilst I source the best of other local produce. We have been debating about changing the bedroom hospitality tray we used at Number 43 and currently we are not planning to change anything. I make the flapjack for the bedroom, the sugar cubes are wrapped, and our ground coffee is in pre measured sealed packets ready for your French Press. I really hope you come and stay at Morningside Cottage & am looking forward to seeing you soon. Lesley
