Beautiful Bothie style property in the Cairngorms

West Bellabeg is situated at the foot of Morven. It has been newly renovated from a derelict sheep bothie into a peaceful stylish bolt hole where you can truly relax and unwind. This small house has one bedroom with a king size bed but also 2 single beds at mezzanine height. There is a bathroom with a shower. The space The house is small but hopefully has everything you could wish for. There is one bedroom with king size bed and wardrobe. There is a further room upstairs but it is open to the bedroom below. This has two single beds built into the roof so quite small! Great for kids. The kitchen, living and dining space is open plan. There is a fold out dining table and stools if you wish to use it. There are two comfy sofas and a TV which is connected to the WiFi. There is a bathroom with a good powerful shower. Guest access You have access to the whole property and garden with separate utility room Other things to note The stairs up to the roof area are very steep and high so not suitable for very young children or people with mobility difficulties. Please be careful. The Bothie must be booked by the person who is actually staying in the house. It cannot be on behalf of anyone else. This is very important and NOT something we can be flexible on. We reserve the right to refuse your stay, with no refund if this rule is broken. The house is in the national park and this particular area is a special conservation area for rare nesting birds. Its also a sheep farm. This means you must be extremely careful with dogs and they must be kept on a lead at all times when around the house. Dogs accepted on a case by case basis at our discretion. We also reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee if we feel it’s appropriate. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and MUST sleep in the porch area. Please always inform us if you are bringing a dog and include the dog on the booking. Please pick up your dog waste and dispose of it appropriately. In December, January, February and even into March we do get snow. It is your responsibility to ensure your own safety. You may need a 4x4 or if not then be prepared to walk the last few hundred meters. We cannot guarantee we will be there to help you if you get stuck. There is bike storage available in the shed behind the building. There is also a power point to charge e-bikes if required.
