Moody Maeve: 3 Bed Waterfront Near Airport & City

Moody Maeve is the perfect medley of inviting, cosy and moody, located right on a peaceful waterfront! It's perfectly suited for up to 5-6 people, with plenty of space for everyone to have their own! Come sit at the light-filled dining nook with uninterrupted views of the water, a bathtub where you can watch the sun set, the electric fireplace heater where you can curl up and enjoy some cheese and wine, a fire pit where you can gather around and unwind. There's something for everyone here! ☺️ The space Moody Maeve was originally built in the 60s (she had a different name then) and has recently been renovated with your enjoyment in mind. There are spacious kitchen, living and dining areas, each with a space to claim as your own. Each bedroom is simplistic in design, yet each detail has been taken into consideration. We've taken inspiration from boutique hotels for the light-filled bathroom, which has luxurious touches. The laundry room has all of the essentials that you'd need for your stay. The generous backyard overlooks the idyllic views of Southern Tasmania. On some days you can catch sailboats out on the water just below, with planes flying just above (you can see them but you can't hear them- it's like magic!) Please note that the indoor fireplace is an electric heater with electric-flame technology, which means it's not a 'real' fire like a gas/ wood-burning one! It's just as mesmerising to look at though, and much less work to enjoy :) and the TV has Wi-Fi access and you’re welcome to sign into any of your streaming services, however there is no cable/ free to air television. We do our best to keep bugs outside and not inside, but as it backs onto a nature reserve, you may see one or two. Please don't be alarmed! Guest access There is a carport available on the property for guests, as well as driveway for additional vehicles. There is also ample street parking directly in front of the house. Other things to note Moody Maeve is under 10 minutes from Hobart Airport, under 15 minutes to many vineyards, and only around 20 minutes away from Hobart city. The nearest town centre is only 7 minutes away, and has everything you'd need (groceries, petrol, restaurants, etc). There are multiple national parks less than an hour away.
