Dock Holiday’s Lake House

Stay with us if you are looking for a peaceful cottage on the lake! Spend your mornings on our open air back porch enjoying freshly brewed coffee or tea. Spend your afternoons down by the lake where you will find our private swim platform dock and a couple kayaks to get you out on the water. Conveniently located 15 minutes from restaurants and groceries in Toccoa GA. The space The Dock Holiday’s Lake House offers lots of spaces for guests to eat, sleep, and play! SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS: Main Level: Bedroom 1: King bed Upper Level: Bedroom 2: Full bed with a futon Bedroom 3: Queen bed Bedroom 4: 2 sets of bunk beds (3 twins & 1 full) BATHROOMS: Main Level: Bathroom 1: Full bathroom with tub/shower combo Upper Level: Bathroom 2: Full bathroom with tub/shower combo TVs: Main Level: Living room Bedroom 1 Upper Level: Bedroom 2 Bedroom 3 TV PROGRAMMING: You are able to log in to any additional services you may have with your own login information. INDOOR DINING: Main Level: Large dining room table with seating for 6-7 with additional seating for 2 at the island KITCHEN: We have an open concept floor plan for the living room/kitchen/dining room areas with all stainless steel appliances. LAUNDRY: Main Level: There is a laundry room with washer/dryer located off of the master bedroom. FIREPLACE: There is a fireplace on the main level in the living room but it is not for guest use. GRILL: We have a gas grill on the back patio that is available for guest use. We supply the propane!! SMALL KITCHEN APPLIANCES: We have both Traditional Drip and Keurig Coffee Machines 5Q Slow-Cooker / Crock-Pot Blender Electric Hand Mixer FOR CHILDREN: We have 2 Pack’N’Plays that are available- one is upstairs and one is downstairs- both have infant inserts and one has a changing pad attachment. We have a kitchen booster seat that is located in the pantry in the kitchen. And we have a baby monitor with 2 receivers. We have HAIR DRYERS available in each bathroom Internet / WiFI: Very fast at 250mbps! FIRE PIT: Outside we have the firepit for a relaxing fire or cook up some s'mores! Wood can be purchased just down the road at Tony's General Store. There is seating for 2 around the firepit. DOCK: Relax on our dock or head out onto the lake with our two single person kayaks. WATER LEVELS: As of January 11, 2026 we have less than a foot of water off our dock. We move the dock bi-weekly as lake levels can fluctuate on Lake Hartwell. PATH DOWN TO DOCK: The dock is a lovely, wooded 760 foot / 3- minute walk from the house. A wagon or cart is recommended to make hauling items easier. PARKING: Plenty of parking for 4+ cars and trailer parking at entrance to the property. No worries here at all! BOATING: The Stephens County Recreational Area boat ramp is a 5-minute drive away. When the lake is up you can tie up your boat to the dock. GROCERIES: There are plenty of grocery and bottle shops close to the house. We recommend the nearby Ingles (it WILL NOT disappoint and even has a Starbucks ;~)). WATER: The cove has many areas where you will be able to stand. We like to wear water shoes and find that our kids prefer having theirs on as well. BOAT RENTALS: There are boat rentals on the lake. We recommend 2 options: 1. Harbor Light Marina; 24 mi, 30 min • Offer hourly and longer-term rentals • We recommend you only consider this option for a day or half day rental. Navigating from the marina to the house by boat is too far and not a good option. 2. Interstate Boat Rental • Offers hourly and longer-term rentals • WILL DELIVER! Which is a great option for this part of the lake. Recommend that you use Stephens County Recreation Area @ Stephens County Park Road as a boat ramp • CASH OR CHECK ONLY TO DO: Toccoa Falls; 8.5 mi, 16 min Tallulah Gorge / Falls; 23 mi, 30 min Clemson; 31 mi, 45 min UGA; 57 mi; 75 min GOLF: There are two local golf courses that are open to the public: 1. Cateechee Golf Course; 34 mi, 47 min • 140 Cateechee Trail Hartwell, GA 30643 2. The Links at Lake Toccoa; 10 mi, 15 min • 201 Black Mountain Rd, Toccoa, GA 30577 WINERY: While there are several in the area, the closest (and our favorite) is right around the corner: 1. It’s located on Stephens County Park Rd, Toccoa, GA 30577 Guest access Full and private access to the entire house and dock. Other things to note WE SUPPLY: Linens, towels STARTER- hand soap, dish soap, scrub pads, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, paper towels, foil, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and laundry detergent. TRAILER STORAGE: Plenty of parking for boat trailer(s) LAKE TOWELS: We have a limited number of lake towels available to use during your stay. If you have a large number of guests planning to swim it may be a good idea to pack a few. FRIENDLY NEIGHBOR DOG: There is a very friendly white labradoodle and a golden retriever that live next door and may come to visit during your stay. ALLERGIES: Although we have a no pet policy, service animals are allowed so there is always the possibility of animal hair / dander in the house which is unavoidable. SEASONAL PRICING: Our pricing varies weekday to weekend, season to season, and holidays. *Please ensure your dates are correct to ensure the pricing is accurate* OCCUPANCY PRICING: Note pricing is based on occupancy. We like to offer the property to smaller groups at a lower rate than larger groups. As long as the number of guests is accurate your price will be accurate. Let us know if the number of guests changes as we can make the alteration Extra fee is $15 per person per night above 6 *Please ensure your quantity of guests are correct to ensure the pricing is accurate* CHECK IN: 4PM-8PM CHECK OUT: 10AM CLEANING: We clean and prepare our property for guests between 10AM check out and 4PM check in. LATE CHECK IN (after 8PM): May be possible, but please let us know in advance to ensure we can accommodate / offer additional support LATE CHECK OUT / EXTENDING YOUR STAY: Extending your check-out past 10am will affect our ability to have the house ready for 4pm check-in. We can alway look to see if the following night is available for rent if you would like to extend your stay to the following day at 10am. Book today!
