You’ll enjoy high-tech amenities including smart locks, lighting, blinds and air conditioning—all controllable by voice. Just ask Siri: “Hey Siri, turn on the AC,” “Play some Neil Young,” or “Change the lights to purple,” We live upstairs and start our days early, so we kindly ask that guests keep noise to a minimum in the entrance. There is no driveway. To park on the street, you’ll need to purchase a permit through the HRM Parking Services website. Guest access There is a front and a back entrance to apt. There is a small, shared patio in the back yard. Other things to note Parking Information: All parking is street parking. You can get a permit to park on the street day and night by visiting the HRM parking link Choose a visitor parking permit. With this permit, you can park in any permit parking area within the Halifax Area. You don't need to display anything in your car, as the attendants have a record of your permit. You can only purchase your parking permit 14 days in advance. The rates are as follows: one day - $15, two days - $25, and seven days - $35. Free Parking: Parking is free on weekends and evenings, and no permit is needed. Be mindful of street cleaning signs. Security cameras: We have one in the entrance and one overlooking the back alley.
