The cottage is situated on an acre of riverfront property, with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a covered porch that is ideal for drinking coffee and taking in the river views. The home is equipped with a large kitchen and dining room to host family-style meals and gatherings. Whether you’re here to ride singletrack trails, raft the river, or spend quality time with family and friends. The space Private access to the entire home and 1-acre property, creek, trails, and of course the McKenzie River! Comfortable and relaxing space with sounds of the river. The property includes the following: Large covered deck with bar + grill overlooking the McKenzie River. Adirondack chairs placed riverside for a place of solitude. Outdoor Firepit + firewood (seasonal use only). Comfortable beds, with extra blankets and pillows. Large, open, and fully stocked kitchen with ample counter space. Large screen TV with all of your typical Apps pre-loaded. Extended dining room table for large gatherings and dinners. Kid/toddler friendly- we have a 2yr old, so there are some toddler safety locks and corner protectors already in place. Highchair, crib, pack n play included. Covered and private back deck for bicycle and gear storage. Large, off-street parking area. Fully fenced area for dogs, including a dog kennel, should you need one. McKenzie General Store and McKenzie Station Restaurant are a very quick walk down the road for food, coffee, and music. The start of the McKenzie River trail is <2 miles away. Guest access Guests will have full access to the space with the exception of the storage shed near the driveway, and a few locked cabinets inside that store our personal items when we also spend time at the cottage.
