Cozy 1-plus bedroom beach home with stunning view

Set in an eclectic neighborhood of cabins and homes, our fully furnished vacation home, the The Fir Yew, has a stunning southerly view, looking towards Seattle, Mt. Rainier, Bainbridge Island, and Port Madison. The Fir Yew is a perfect spot for a fun beach getaway. The main level includes living/dining/kitchen/laundry areas, 3/4 bath, and a large deck. The top level has one large bedroom with access to a small deck, and two sleeping alcoves, each with twin beds. No pets or smoking allowed. The space Our home is cozy and comfortable, originally built by our grandparents in the early '30's, and remodeled in the timeless '80's style by our parents. Here you have a clean home with a large deck, a fabulous view and comfortable furnishings. The bedroom has a king bed, television, and access to a small deck, also with a view. Each sleeping alcove has two twin beds; curtains are used in the sleeping alcoves to delineate each space. There are dressers in both alcoves, as well as the bedroom. The bedroom also has a large closet, a desk and chair for working, and a wicker loveseat for relaxing. Guest access The house is actually three stories, with the basement apartment level being occupied by your host. Guests have full use of the main and upper levels of the house. The back yard (water view side), is also open to exclusive guest use. The access to the host's residence is right off the yard, but should not intrude on guest activities. Other things to note Our carport is a little on the short side, some taller SUV's or vans may not fit. Before pulling in to park, please assess if your vehicle will fit. Also, due to the time it takes to prepare our home between guests, we cannot accommodate early check in or late checkout. This is a strict rule so please plan accordingly. Should you need to check in or out before the scheduled time we suggest booking the day before or after. However, you are more than welcome to drop off your bags early, but must coordinate with host prior. There is a security motion camera at each door, and a motion activated light facing the walkway to the house.
