The Hill Cabin (glamping - sleeps 1 to 4 people)

Part of Damson Hill Cottage which also has a Shepherd's Hut and another glamping cabin. The Hill Cabin is a round roofed cabin, sat on top of a hill on the edge of a woodland, with stunning sunsets. Peaceful & tranquil setting with great walking, running & cycling routes from the door. Fabulous family friendly pub with huge beer garden just 5 mins walk, Bishops Waltham market town 1.5 miles away. loo & shower block, pizza oven to hire, caravan cafe, fitness studio & outdoor circuit. The space It's a real surprise when you arrive at Damson Hill Cottage. The glamping site is tucked away, and you'd never know it was there. Two glamping cabins and a small Shepherd's Hut. Can be booked individually as they are a decent distance away from each other for privacy, but also as a group booking for family or friends gatherings. As well as your cabin, you also private outside area just for you with tables and chairs, fairy lights, fire pit etc. There is plenty of greenery and hedging around you to give you privacy as well. You will also have Betty, the Caravan Cafe, to use at your leisure, she has undercover outdoor seating too, you just need to find Betty on the website to pay for your teas and coffees which is super easy as its a self serve cafe. We serve Moon Roast Coffee, Clipper & Pukka teas & Cawstons Press. There are some healthy gluten/dairy free bars and biscuits also available. And homemade cakes etc can be made to order. There is also The Dining Room which can seat up to 12 on a long table inside, and a woodburning stove. There is also The Kitchen with fridge, slow cooker, 2 induction hobs, panini maker, toaster, kettle, nutribullet and Sodastream and lots of cutlery and crockery and some recipe books. There are plenty of tables and benches outside on the raised tree top deck that makes you feel like you are the same height of the trees. Attached to this is The Pilates Studio which is where I teach from, and you can use this if free to have a workout in too, you just need to ask. I have a further Woodland Deck which is an outside deck down deep in the woods, where you can dine, exercise or just hang out. There is also The Den, which is an indoor/outdoor room with a Book Swap Shelf. Plenty of tables and chairs, a big butler sink (where you fill your kettle up from Betty), and a freezer. This room is next to the double loo & shower block. There is a second loo block up on the drive as well. Also at Damson, we have The Little Red Sauna (& cold plunge), which is bookable via the website. We also have a wood fired pizza oven that can be hired for large groups on a pre-booked basis. Guest access We own two acres of sloping woodland, part is owned privately by me and my family so our swings off our deck and the trampoline is not allowed to be used by guests, but you can use the pull up bars and the zip line that leads down to the road towards the pub. Please be careful of the zip line, it is low for the children, but pretty fast and you need to keep your legs tucked in!
