"CattleRest Bunkhouse" Rustic, Cozy and Western!
Have a memorable visit when you stay at this historic and unique bunkhouse. Rumor has it John Wayne stayed here when he brought cattle to the CattleRest years back! Quiet country setting yet close to town with the wineries, various eateries, museums and numerous attractions. Head East to hike the beautiful Chiricahua mountains or head west to the Dragoons . Do some birdwatching then go next door to the CattleRest Saloon to shoot pool, have pizza , cold drink or dance to music. Take a walk around the CattleRest area and go back in time when you see part of the old stockyards still standing. Take a true western picture standing next to one of the original cattle loading chutes. Venture into the Saloon and dance in the area that once was an auction ring for selling cattle. Sit on the front porch and gaze towards the Dragoon mountains with Cochise Stronghold, where Chief of the Apaches called home. Check out the cattle brands that are branded on the kitchen bar of the Bunkhouse. See if you recognize any! As a guest, you will have access to the entire CattleRest area. Go dance the night away and stroll back to the Bunkhouse for your own private area. Cohost lives in area and is available if needed. Country setting, yet very close to town and all it offers! A short drive to Tombstone, The Town Too Tough To Die! Right in the middle of wine country. Numerous tasting rooms nearby. Easy access off Interstate 10 with plenty of parking space. Refrigeration unit is on wall that is between the two bedrooms. The WiFi is available in Saloon.
