Authentic, bright and comfortable, it is in the center of the village of Michelbach-le-Haut, a few minutes from Golf Saint-Apollinaire and close to Basel. A perfect base from which you can explore 3 countries in one stay! The space Welcome to our grandparents' home, a place steeped in history and tenderness that we have completely renovated with care to give it a new life. Today, this family home mixes with Alsatian authenticity and modern comforts, to become an elegant, welcoming and soothing cottage. Here, each room tells a souvenir, every detail has been thought out for your well-being. It is the ideal place to recharge your batteries with family, friends, or simply enjoy a peaceful break in the countryside, close to Basel and the wonders of Alsace. On the ground floor you will find: • a friendly dining room, perfect for sharing good meals, • a TV lounge with the option to connect to your Netflix account for your relaxing evenings, • a fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee bean machine, fridge with freezer, etc.), • bathroom with shower and separate toilet, • as well as a laundry room with washer, dryer and even 5 bikes at your disposal to explore the surroundings! Upstairs (no elevator): • one bedroom with two single beds (90x180 and 90x190), •a master bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200), • and a connecting room (without separate entrance) with a single bed (90x200). Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with screens for peaceful nights. In summer, you'll enjoy the comfort of 100% natural linen and silk duvets, for a smooth sleep 🌙 Need to stay connected? A work area with a computer, printer, and high-speed fiber-optic internet is available for your use = ideal for working remotely. Wifi is efficient throughout the house, and mobile coverage is provided by Free and Orange networks (Bouygues, more problematic and limited). Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided at no extra charge. On the outside, relax on your private shaded terrace, a real corner of zen out of sight. Enjoy the barbecue for your summer meals in a friendly atmosphere. A private parking space is available at the back of the house, with the possibility of accommodating a second vehicle in the courtyard. ⚡Travel with peace of mind: a reinforced Green'Up 3.5 kW outlet is available in the parking space of the cottage. A service to allow you to easily recharge your electric car during your stay, for a fee depending on consumption. (to be paid at the end of the stay). Guest access The accommodation, although paired with our parents' house, is completely independent. Our small rural village, very quiet, is full of charm but without shops or public transport = a car is therefore essential. Shops and supermarkets are a 10-minute drive away. To avoid any disappointment, we prefer to specify that the outdoor space at the back of the property is in the shade and that the garden is reserved for our private use. It is therefore unfortunately not possible to stay there during your stay. Thanks to our partnership with an artisanal bakery in the nearby village, you can, every morning (except Mondays and annual holidays) and with a simple order, receive fresh bread and delicious pastries at your door.
