The space Welcome to our grandparents' house, a place full of history and tenderness that we have completely renovated with care to offer it a new life. Today, this family home harmoniously combines Alsatian authenticity and modern comforts, to become an elegant, welcoming and soothing gîte. Here, each room tells a memory, every detail has been thought out for your well-being. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries with family, friends, or simply enjoy a peaceful break in the countryside, a stone's throw from Basel and the wonders of Alsace. On the ground floor you will find: • a friendly dining room, perfect for sharing good meals, • a TV lounge with the possibility to connect to your Netflix account for your relaxing evenings, • a fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, fridge with freezer, etc.), • a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet, • as well as a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and even 5 bikes at your disposal to explore the surrounding area! Upstairs (no elevator): • one bedroom with two single beds (90 x 180 cm and 90 x 190 cm), • a master bedroom with double bed (160 x 200 cm), • and a connecting room (without separate entrance) with a single bed (90 x 200 cm). Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with mosquito nets for peaceful nights. In summer, you will enjoy the comfort of 100% natural linen and silk duvets, for a gentle sleep 🌙 Need to stay connected? A desk area with computer, printer and high-speed fiber internet is available for your use — ideal for teleworking. Wi-Fi is efficient throughout the house, and mobile coverage is provided by the Free and Orange networks (Bouygues, more problematic and limited). Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided at no extra cost. Outside, relax on your private and shaded terrace, a real corner of zen out of sight. Enjoy the barbecue for your summer meals in a friendly atmosphere. A private parking space is available at the back of the house, with the possibility of accommodating a second vehicle in the courtyard. We love animals, but to preserve the comfort and health of everyone, we can't host your pets at the cottage. Our small rural village is full of charm but without shops or public transport — a car is therefore essential. Shops and supermarkets are about a 10-minute drive away. Thanks to our partnership with an artisanal bakery in the neighboring village, you can, every morning (except Monday) and on simple order, receive fresh bread and delicious pastries at your door.
