Description
We are a local homestay located in Uum Sayhoun, a little village next to Petra. We are located 2.5 km away from the main entrance of Petra and only a 5 minute walk from the second entrance. Me and my husband are both from bedouin families, who originally lived in the Caves before Petra became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Our families were moved to the village where we lived ever since. We provide communal space, bathroom with hot shower, a shared kitchen and prepared meals, tours. The space Our homestay is located at the edge of Uum Sayhoun with panorama view of the beautiful mountains. You can experience the local life away from touristy Wadi Musa but still very close to Petra. Guest access We have a beautiful outside area, where we have bonfire nights when the weather is good. Also we have a communal space and a big tent where you can hang out and enjoy a nice cup of tea. You are welcome to use our shared kitchen or enjoy one of our delicious home-cooked meals. The bathroom is equipped with a big hot water shower. Dinner 10JD Breakfast 4JD Lunch Box 5JD Other things to note We offer transportation and guided tours around Petra. My husband can show you Petra trough bedouine eyes. Also we can organize tours and transportation around Jordan, the Dana to Petra hiking and camping. We are happy to help wherever we can!
